Introduction

This year marks the 60th anniversary of the establishment of The Hong Kong Anti-Cancer Society (HKACS). The number "60" has a special meaning for HKACS. According to the traditional Chinese sexagenary cycle, sixty years make up a full cycle of time, with the ten celestial stems and the twelve terrestrial branches repeating endlessly. Therefore, the theme for HKACS’s 60th anniversary is "Infinity" with the mathematical symbol of "∞" as its design concept, symbolizing HKACS’s commitment to providing infinite love and care to support cancer patients, their families, caregivers, and the community.

A series of celebratory events have officially started after the Chinese New Year in 2023 and will continue until the middle of 2024.
